Circles of Care: A Workbook for Pregnancy, Birth, and Postpartum
This workbook was created to support reflection through pregnancy, birth, and the fourth trimester. The exercises in this workbook are inspired by my work as a doula and as a perinatal psychotherapist. The content contains practices and reflective exercises I have drawn on to support new and expectant families in reflection during a period of tremendous change, wonder, grief, and transformation. These exercises invite you into reflection and curiosity in service of growing of the circles of care and communication between you, your family, and your baby.
Years ago I made this workbook out of a desire to share some of the ways I approach pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Many of the exercises and ideas come from luminaries, poets, and writers I deeply revere. I often draw from these reflections and exercises beyond the perinatal period. Maybe you will find it supportive, wherever this finds you in your life.
